ah frik. if BNS ends, my web-comic innocence is over…! BNS was my introduction to web comics and remains my favourite. SO looking forward to more and hope you guys can keep it going and get a bound version of this out! I have some money saved for that….

hey cookkk, thank you for the comment. the things you touch upon are true. things i have to address in my approach to butternut as a whole. the comic has been stagnating for a while and suffering because of many things. it was created 6 years ago but hasn’t progressed. i love it – but it’s time to take it to the next level or stop because i am doing it a disservice. thanks for caring

So… I’ve been a fan of your comic for a long time, and a fan of a lot of webcomics for a long time.
I’ve noticed a trend in the popular ones and the rising ones.

When the popular ones miss a days update for a comic, they usually have just a little filler strip that isnt really part of any story or even has the same characters normally seen in the strips. The rising ones don’t do shit. They don’t make any acknowledgement that they are running behind or anything.

I love BNS, stop doing it half assed. I realize you need your partner, but if you see a thursday approaching and you know you wont get the comic out in time, you know what you do…
Make a little strip ala questionablecontents bird of some sort. It will let your readers know that you still care, and it will let us know that you haven’t completely abandoned the script.

I hope you read this entry. I give my suggestion because I care and I love BNS.

the sporadic posting of new bns comics matches my sporadic reading of them. hopefully you guys will be able to hammer out some semblence of a schedule but if not, that’s okay too. let me know if you need help packing.
